The ASEAN Culture House (ACH), operated by the KF, presents Friendship Diary, an exhibition of photographs and videos selected from the third ACH Photo & Video Contest, held this past spring.
Like a diary in which close friends share their daily experiences with each other, the exhibition features photographs and videos showing how people from ASEAN member states and Korea become friends.
In addition to the selected works from the ACH contest, the exhibition also introduces the works of Busan-based photographer Lee Dong-keun and painter Hwang In-ji, shedding fresh light on the lives of ASEAN people living in Korea, whether due to marriage, employment, or education.
Friendship Diary celebrates our neighbors from diverse walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. We may all look different, but we have many things in common. The exhibition aims to provide viewers with an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of unfamiliar things and learn from them.
