The KF has signed an MOU with Big Hit Edu, the educational business unit of Big Hit Entertainment, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to promote Korean language education abroad and carry out joint projects. The first project will be the KF e-School: BTS Special Korean Language Lectures. This program will run regular classes at major institutes of higher learning overseas, using the Learn! KOREAN with BTS textbooks.
Developed by Bit Hit Edu, the textbook series uses original BTS content to teach the Korean language. Students learn about Korean language and culture by listening and repeating Korean expressions that are frequently used by the BTS members themselves. Beginning this fall semester, six institutes in four countries will adopt the curriculum for their KF e-School Korean language classes. The classes have already begun at Middlebury College in the United States, EDHEC Business School in France, and Thang Long University in Viet Nam, and soon, classes will follow at École normale supérieure in France, Ain Shams University in Egypt, and the University of Languages and International Studies in Viet Nam.
