The KF and the Latvian Embassy in Korea will jointly host an exhibition Latvia. Architecture at Convergence at the KF Gallery in Seoul from May 8 through June 12. The exhibition will introduce the medieval wooden buildings of Riga, Latvia’s capital city, which are a registered UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, and its Art Nouveau architecture, both of which have left a permanent mark on European culture. This rare exhibition, which aims to highlight Latvia’s indigenous culture and its outstanding achievements, will be accompanied by a lecture by Dr. Ilze Paklone, an expert in urban architecture and design. Detailed information is available on the KF website.
