The KF has invited Charles Armel Doubane, the Central African Republic’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Central Africans Abroad, to visit Korea on April 8–12. Minister Doubane previously served as the Director Guarantor of the CAP Chimie SARL, the Minister of Education, and Vice Speaker of the National Assembly. Having run as a candidate in the presidential election of 2015, Minister Doubane has unveiled his vision for the future of the Central African Republic in his autobiography entitled My Life, My Vision. Having visited Korea on a KF program for African next-generation leaders in 2009 as the Director Guarantor of the CAP Chimie, Minister Doubane is set to visit Korea again nine years later, this time as a foreign minister.
During his second visit to Korea, Minister Doubane will meet with officials of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Export-Import Bank of Korea to learn more about the economic development of his host country and facilitate diplomatic cooperation between the two sides.
