2016 KF Plans
Digital Programs and Media Department

Regular Publications
In 2016, the KF will continue to publish Koreana, a comprehensive quarterly on Korean art and culture, in nine languages: English, Japanese, Mandarin, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and Indonesian. Readers can access the Koreana webzine at ( www.koreana.or.kr) and other KF e-publications ( ebook.kf.or.kr) for no charge.

Feature Publications and Support for Publishers
The Foundation extends support to publishers of foreign-language books on Korea written for non-Korean readers. The KF will continue its Grant Support for K-Publications in Non-Korean Languages that offers assistance to both Korean and overseas publishers. The Foundation will also make available various e-book content that can be accessed by mobile devices.

Assistance for Korea-Related Research
To boost Korea-related education and research and to publicize materials that promote Korea, the KF offers print and audio-visual resources to overseas universities, libraries, research institutes, and museums. Users can visit the Books on Korea website ( http://www.booksonkorea.org) and apply to become a program member. E-books and other digital content are also made available to the professors and students of Korean Studies departments.

Videos and Films for Viewing by Overseas Audiences
The KF supports the film festival events staged by overseas Korean embassies and the airing of Korean TV programs for viewers in Central and South America. The showing of Korean films and television programs helps to promote a better understanding of Korea among audiences in regions that lack direct access and contact with Korea.
