Meeting the World in Korea: U.S.A., Canada, and
China

During the September session of Meeting the World in Korea, Daniel from the United States, Shana of Canada, and Gao Tian of China entertained the students of Godeok Elementary School by taking a look at the holiday culture of their home countries. There were activities related to Halloween in the United States, Thanksgiving in Canada, and Mid-Autumn Festival in China. The young students in the American group made Halloween masks, those in the Canadian group drew turkeys in the shape of their hand, and the Chinese group made red lanterns, a representative symbol of China. It was a brief time, but a chance to experience the major holidays of the three countries, during which the enthusiasm and innocence of the students made everything all the more enjoyable and memorable.
