The Peace Corps provided services in English education, public health, and job training in Korea between 1966 and 1981. During their seven days in Korea, the former Peace Corps volunteers will visit clinics, hospitals, and schools in areas where they worked to reunite with old colleagues and to see how Korea has developed over the years. A total of 507 former Peace Corps volunteers have visited Korea through this program, which began in 2008, helping to strengthen cooperation and amity between Korea and the US.
