In March, Meeting the World in Korea visited the Hanmaum Children’s Center in Hanam and learned about the traditions, culture, language, and food of Malaysia and Kazakhstan with the students there. One student by the name of Kim Seong-mo learned a lot about Malaysia through the kind instruction of Lim Chin Huey. This was also Seong-mo’s first chance to try dragon fruit, which he said tasted great. Marisha Saifulina, who led the class on Kazakhstan, also said that she thought the activity was useful and hopes to take part again in the future.
